Server unexpectedly closes connection

I am having a problem when I try to retrieve permissions for my web. The web is located on an NT server on my network. When I open the web to modify it, I log onto the NT server using the Administrator login.

When I go to the Tools->Server->Permissions... option, FrontPage spins for about 1-2 minutes, and then comes back with the dreaded "The server has unexpectedly closed the connection" error.

Another user at a different location in our company can use this functionality just fine from his computer, so I'm guessing it has something to do with my local configuration.

Does anyone have ANY ideas as to what can be causing this???

I believe you'll have to go to the server and look at its logs to see why
the sever is bumping you. Look to the event logs... on both machines.

Do you means the logs in the Event Viewer? If so, I don't get anything in any of the logs on either machine. It's frustrating because I can retrieve permissions for another web on a different server just fine. I've tried to compare the IIS settings between both of the web servers (the one which lets me retrieve permissions and the one which doesn't), but I don't see anything glaringly different.

Any suggestions??
