Im trying to install a program and Im getting installation file error server
threw an exception. Does anyone know what is causing this and how to fix?
Im using XP Home and connected to broadband (cable modem).

Hi,

What program?
What is the exact text of the entire error message?
Are you downloading a program?
If so, are you saving it or trying to run it from the remote location?

PC Coach elite is the program. The error message is installation file cannot
be installed server threw an exception. The program has been successfully
downloaded from the vendor. Just wont install. Thanks

Hi,

Ok, what I'm asking is this: Did you fully download the program, then run it
by double-clicking? Or did you choose to run it from the current location?
An error message about a the server throwing an exception tells me that
setup is trying to run from a remote location. In most cases, that is a bad
idea. Where are you getting this from?
