Server thinks images have been modified

My Golf Course site, whilst pretty basic, has a lot of
images (photos mainly). I just tried to up-load a couple
of amended pages. My web host server seems to think all
the images have been modified (on 26-April-2003!), do I
want to replace them?

I haven't modified them, although I may have viewed them
via My Computer. I certainly don't want to replace them
as this will take hours.

Any idea what causes this and how I can avoid or get
round it. Clicking the "No" button endlessly is driving
me crazy.

Did you re-install FP or upgrade? If so then you will have to do a complete publish at least once.

Also, consider placing all of the images into a single folder, then converting the folder to a
subweb, if you host allows subwebs.

I haven't re-installed or upgraded.

I visited my Web host site to find out about sub-webs. I
can't find anything on that but I DID find an alternative
means of publishing via drag-and-drop in explorer
windows, rather than using FP. This should avoid the
issue, if not solve it.

Careful, if the remote serve has the FP extensions, this may break the extensions. It would be
better to open a second instant of FP with the remote site and then copy and paste between the two
FP windows.

This out of sync issue could also be cause if their has been any changes to the system clock on your
system or the host's system.
