server problems..cannot find

Most times whenever I attempt to open IE it comes up with
the error cannot find server. I've tried several options,
which include emptying the cache and expanding it. Even
when I click the link detect network settings it doesn't
always work. If someone could help me out that'd be great
 
sounds like a local dns problem. if you are on broad band
you can manually change your dns servers to 4.2.2.2 and
4.2.2.1.

if you check your local area connection right click to get
status then properties, in the window select tcp/ip
settings, select use following dns servers.

4.2.2.2 and 4.2.2.1
