server freezes

i have opperating system xp, office 2003, explorer ver 6.
i have good anti virus and anti spy-malware programs. my
computer is a clean machine. i have a 56k dail up service
that stops working and freezes after about 10 to 30
minutes. then it works again intermeadiatly. i know it is
not a hardware problem. a good example is > i watch a web
camera in a yahoo chat room. the camera picture will
freeze and the chat room dialog will freeze. it will start
again after 2 to 5 minutes. the problem gets increasingly
more frequent until i get booted off yahoo with the
message "page unavailable" or "cannot find server". it
happens with other web pages. the problem first started
after downloaded all available updates from microsoft for
my computer. i downloaded patch KB831167, but it did not
entirely fix the problem. is there another patch i should
get?

kb835732 is also a problem patch that you could uninstall
and see if your problem goes away (multiple problems). no
patch for this one yet.
