server error

Hi
I am having a problem with FrontPage 2000. If I try to open and existing
web page or even file, save as.. I get the message:
server error: can not open file " file name" for writing.

I tried to fix and repair and it went through the process, but it still
gives the same message. Any idea, and also, how do I get to your FAQ page?

You need to open the file for the web site using Windows Explorer and remove
the "read only" attributes for the files in the web.
This usually happens if the files have been copied from a CD.

yep, worked like a charm for the webs already created but...

When I try to create a new web and I hit save as.. I still get the same
message. Is there somewhere else I have to change as not read only to get
to save a new web?
