Server cannot be found with full domain addressing

Hi:

I'm working in a LAN. All of my servers and workstations can be pinged
w\ the
'ping host.domain.com' or 'ping host' command.

However, one server only responds with 'ping host'.
When I try 'ping host.domain.com', it responds with 'Ping request
could not find..."

When I get on the actual server and try both, they both work. How do I
get this thing recognized on the network
with the full DNS name?

Here's the ipconfig /all info.

Wasn't sure if this was un-pingable from just one machine or all machines
(except itself) but the ipconfig looks to be ok. Verify that the machine is
actually registering in dns and that you see it's records there. Sometimes
I've seen the box in ip properties/advanced/dns for register this connection
in dns get unchecked. If you see its host record in your dns server/s and
the address is correct, let us know.
thanks

Hi,

Only the machine can ping itself with a full DNS name. The other
machines can't find it with full DNS name.
It's not registered in DNS like all the other servers and workstations.

Do I need to register in manually?
