Server boots to Windows Logo, then screen turns black.

Not sure what the deal is... The machine crashed due to a power surge. When
it came back up, it gave the old "ntoskrnl.exe missing or corrupt". So, I
ran a chkdsk on it. After that the server will now boot past the F8 menu,
past the Windows 2003 logo, and then the screen turns black and then hangs.

Safe mode, LKG, etc have no effect. Any ideas short of reinstalling?
 
Reseat all connectors, adapters, and RAM modules. Replace ntoskrnl.exe.
Perform in-place upgrade (be careful if this is the only DC). Install UPS.
