server blue screens and will not reboot auto

I have a windows 2000 terminal server this is blue screening. while I am
looking into the problem I wanted to get the server to reboot
automatically when it happened and I thought I could accomplish this by
setting the registry setting for CrashControl->AutoReboot to 1.

I have done this, however the server will still not reboot on the blue
screen. Is there anything else I can do so that when it crashes in off
hours (as it typically the case) it will come back up?

That is checked, however the system will still not reboot when it blue
screens. Is there any other method of forcing this or any reason why
this should not be working?
