server 2008 uninstall

i have installed server 2008 trail on a machine. now i want to uninstall it.
i use win xp to boot from cd but it show strange things. and some DS DOS A:>
appears like i am in dos mode.

Hello Muhammad,

Uninstalll from what? Second partition from a disk or was it a fresh install
on a new machine? Then just install what you like and format during the setup.

thats the point. i want a fresh new install of win xp or server 2003 but the
setup cd dosent go into the setup..

its very strange

Is your machine setup to boot from cd/dvd? Also is the disk you are using
bootable/original?

Make sure the cd is bootable and that the BIOS checks the cd before it
checks the disk partition. If it goes to the disk partition first then you
will never boot off of cd. Usually an F2 and POST time will bring you into
the bios memory.
