Server 2000 hangs when XP workstation logs off

I have win 2K AS
When ever I reboot a specific XP workstation the server hangs. Nothing in
the log on either of the machines.

To come back up I have to shut down the XP box and the Exchange server (a
member server running 2000) and then reboot the server by reset or power
cycle.

ANY ideas?
