Serious problem with Service Pack 2 installation

I downloaded Service Pack 2 & installed it. After installation, I was not
able to connect to the internet. My ISP provider is Beam Cables, Hyderabad,
Ind. There was an application installed by my ISP provider that connects to
the internet. When I start the programme, it is giving a mesg. "Check Server
Setting" which I didn't encountered before installation of SP 2. Though, I
turned-off the Firewall, the problem was not resolved untill I unistalled SP
2. Kindly help me regarding this.

Did you call your ISP for assistance? The issue might have been
related to the SP2 firewall.

Uninstall your ISP software, upgrade to SP2, then reinstall your ISP
software

I had to download and install service pack 2 three times before it went in
right.Trying again might work.
