My issue started when I tried to install UPS Worldship software. I
keep getting an error MSDE Module that states that a specific module
cannot load. We tried several options but we still receive the same
error. At that
point, the tech consulted with someone else in the tech dept. and
they stated that they have seen instances where once the SP 2 feature
was re-installed,
et corrected the issue.

It has recently been discovered that both the Windows XP SP2 Operating
System, as well as Server 2003 SP1 "require" Microsoft's SQL MSDE SP3a.
Any version of SQL MSDE prior to this is subject to the new Security
features within SP2 shutting it down or interfering with it's operation.
If you are experiencing issues with Liberty and SQL, you will want to
update your version of SQL MSDE to SP3a. For more information on this,
you can read about SP3a here. Follow the link below to download SP3a.
Microsoft SQL Server MSDE SP3a

Once you have downloaded sql2kdesksp3.exe, double-click it and it will
extract itself to C:\sql2ksp3. Once this has finished extracting,
download this SP3Installer (Link:
http://www.rswpartner.com/download/SP3Installer.exe ) and save it to
C:\sql2ksp3\MSDE. Once that has finished downloading, double-click
SP3Installer.exe to install the SP3a update.
***NOTE***
Before you make any major changes to any computer system, it is
important that you have Backups of your important data. Make sure you
have a functional copy of your RWDDATA.ZIP Liberty Backup before
installing any updates. Resaleworld.com does not support SQL Server
troubleshooting. If you have any questions about SQL or Databases,
contact your System Administrator or your certified local PC/Network
Technician.

UPS WorldShip Integration, ODBC and Service Pack 2 (SP2)
Currently, when attempting to integrate Liberty and UPS WorldShip via
the UPS Link, there are some issues with the way Windows is talking to
SQL via the ODBC Connection Manager.
When going through the UPS Link Setup, you will be brought into the
Windows ODBC Connection Manager and will be asked to choose a Server
(choices would be (local), "YOURSERVERNAME", etc.). If you are seeing
duplicates in this list (i.e., 2 (local), etc.), then you will need to
update your version of Microsoft's SQL Server MSDE.
Follow the links below to Microsoft's Website for instructions on how to
download and install SQL Server MSDE SP3a. Once this has been updated,
you will need to re-run the UPS Link Setup. When you are finally brought
to the steps to choose either "Windows Authentication" or "SQL
authentication", choose "SQL" and enter 'report' as the Username and
Password. If you receive a SQL Server "driver" error, contact
Resaleworld.com Technical Support for assistance.
