SErious Intrusion in IE6

Have just been "infected" by pop up "browser" within IE6. I think it goes
by the name of POP, the Peoples Browser. Opens up a window at left of screen
with various chat people and changes them periodically. In "View" and
toolbars I can get rid of it but it comes back each time I open up IE. Have
tried Spybot but this has not eradicated it. Anyone know how I can get rid
of this pest?

Did you first seek updates for Spybot's reference files before you ran it?

SpyBot may not be flagging it since it's likely an in-the-wild hijacker.

Go to:
http://www.spywareinfo.com/~merijn/files/hijackthis.zip

Unzip, double-click "HijackThis.exe" and Press "Scan".

When the scan is finished, the "Scan" button will change into a "Save Log"
button.
Click: "Save Log" (generates "hijackthis.log")

Next, HijackThis | Config [button] | Misc Tools [button]
Click: Generate StartupList log [button] (generates "startuplist.txt")

Next, go to the below location: Spyware and Hijackware Removal Support.
