Serial Number

I received windows xp and when I try to type in the serial
numbers to install it...it will not work. The numbers on
the package do not add up to the amount requested. What
can I do?

You don't enter a serial number, you enter the Product Key, which consists
of 5 groups of 5 numbers and or letters.

Use the PID on the back of the Cd case or the top of your PC.

And should be on a yellow sticker, on a card inside the box: marked 'Do
Not Lose this number' - which is a point to take seriously!
