I have an ad on my site for The UPS store, but my search form does not find
this add if I type ups or UPS. It will find it if I type store. I
recalculated the links on my pc and the remote site, but still not working.

Also, I want the search to ONLY search in the ads directory. I entered the
folder name (ads) in the search form properties/results "Word list to search"
field, but it still searches the entire site.

Please advisie

You would have to convert the ads folder to a subweb / site and place the search form within it, to
limit the search to this specific folder.

Thank you. I have an ad on my site for The UPS store, but my search form
does not find this add if I type ups or UPS. It will find it if I type
store. I
recalculated the links on my pc and the remote site, but still not working.
It almost seems as if the search has to be greater than 3 letters. Is that
what it is and can I change that?

Ok, then the WAIS search engine which is used by FP has certain words that are excluded, and there
is no way to change them. There is a MS KB with this list.

the word "up" is one of them, so the plural (ups) is ignored)
