I set up a separate email account for my son on my Comcast account.
I would like his messages to come in to a separate Inbox. How do I
set up a separate inbox for him? Thanks!
If your son's mailbox at Comcast is the same as yours (i.e., you use the
same username/password to access it), then they're not really separate mail
addresses, as far as Outlook is concerned and Mary's suggestion to use rules
is valid. In fact, it's valid in any case, although you don't have to use
subfolders like Mary suggests. You can use separate folders at the same
level as the Inbox or you can create another PST with its own entirely
separate Inbox. You'll still be able to see both address's messages,
though, and you'll still share the same calendar and contacts.
If, however, your mailboxes at Comcast are actually distinct, you can really
separate things such that your son can't see your messages. Write back if
it applies to you and you'd like to pursue that.
