Hi,
This is a by-design feature in Outlook. You can only have
one default delivery location in Outlook, meaning that all
received, sent, draft and deleted messages will be saved in
the default folder no matter which account they come from.
To verify the default delivery location:
-- Open Outlook, select Tools/e-mail accounts/View or Edit¡
-- You can see the dropdown list "deliver new e-mail to the
following location"
So if this location is set to Mailbox, then all new messages
will be saved in mailboxes.
Note: If you set the location to a local PST file, then all the
messages in mailbox will be deleted from server after
retrieved to local.
We can set up an Outlook rule to category the sent items
-- Tools/Rules and Alerts
-- Create a new rule
-- Check message after sending
-- Specify the sender's address
-- Copy it to a specific folder

Note: this article also applies to Outlook 2003
Hope the info helps.

Pat Cai
