Sent Items Disappear

When i send items they all appear correctly in my sent items folder. However
after about four weeks they just disappear. Have checked various settings and
everything appears to be ok. Any Ideas

Check View | Current View | Show all messages while in the sent items
folder. Also see www.oehelp.com/OETips.aspx#3 and verify that no av
software is responsible.

Everything appears to check out ok. If AV software ere affecting it why
would it only affect it after 4 weeks? Everything more recent is there.
