Sending your old windows XP cd bac for Windows XP with Sp2 replace

Someware under UK Tradeing Standards is a section where you can Mail back
software CD's for Free upgrades of that software due that you own it (FULL
SOFTWARE NOT UPGRADES as separates to patch the old software)

I'v Done this with all my games CD's & DVD's - all do it for free however
they are starting to Charge £4.50 for P&P

So Wounding if Microsoft will do the same?
Due I Now Have a Problem
I Have a Very OLD Copy of Windows XP Home - Its Srewing up My New 2x 300GB
HDDs On each New Fresh install - The drives are partitiond

HDD 1: C: 60GB D: 30GB E: 20GB F:Remain of the 300gb
HDD 2: G: 60GB H: All remain of the dirve But Not the Last 20GB which is
truned into

My Old 200GB I use to get away with Deleteing the 40GB C: Partition Keeping
the other Partitions on all other drives intact

However with my 2x 300GB it Trashed Both Drives! all data on them too! Lucky
i have a back up of all my files

Now I want Replacement Upgraded Windows XP Home CD with SP2 so next time
windows dies I dont get windows setup bugging out and trashing both drives
when its only ment to trash one C: partition

One sollution would be to slipstream SP2 into you original XP CD, see
here for how to achieve this

If there is such a program I have never heard of it, I doubt it exists for
Microsoft software.
But you should check with the UK trading Standards to determine if it
applies and to what extent.
You can easily make a slipstreamed CD with SP-2:

If there is a requirement, the slipstream ability may fill it.
