Sending the calendar

is there anyway to attach a calendar view to an email and send it to someone?

A view? No, I don't believe so. What exactly is it you want to send?
You can export your calendar to a PST file & attach that if you wish.
 
Does that send the whole calendar? I am trying to send a weekly view of one
week to someone.

A view is not an object. You can't send a view. You can, however, export
only the items you wish (such as, all in currrent view, presuming you've
created one) to a PST file. Then open it and check to make sure it contains
only what you wish.

Are you using an Exchange mailbox, or a PST file? One option if this is not
a corporate computer is to get a yahoo account, and use the freebie
Intellisync for Yahoo to sync your local calendar (contacts, etc if you
wish) to your yahoo calendar. then you can grant access to others as you
wish - they will need yahoo accounts, too.
