Sending Spam and don't want to!

I am getting all sorts of email returns stating that my email message did not
reach a recipient. These email messages are all spam sent by - darned if I
know! But they have my email address. I have full Norton Internet security. I
heard that this was a general problem discovered last week? All my windows
updates are current as of today.
Any idea how I stop this???

It probably isn't you, or your computer. Spammers and viruses spoof the
sender on mail, so the innocent may get the NDRs...you can't do anything
about it, unfortunately. I can send mail and specify you as the sender, and
you'll get the bounce.

That said, note that some viruses/spam masquerade *themselves* as NDRs -

Just delete these nuisances, make sure your PC remains up to date (and also
make sure Office / Outlook are patched - Microsoft Update can now do this;
see the WU pages for help). Also keep your antivirus software
current/updated, even if you aren't scanning mail separately (many people
recommend avoiding that).
