outlook is blocking my emails as spam

Outlook is blocking me from sending emails to a google group I am on. It
blocks my sends, but doesn't block me from receiving. I called my ISP and
they say it is outlook, not them - it does come back IMMEDIATELY after I hit
send, so I don't think it could be my ISP either. How do I get it unblocked?

Outlook cannot block you as it is not a server ;-)

Can you send to other addresses? (non-GMail)
Can you send to GMail addresses?

If the answer to your first question is yes; nothing is wrong with your
Outlook configuration or your ISP.
If the answer to your second question is yes, then Google hasn't blocked you
either and the issue lies at Googlegroups.

Guaranteed to be a Charter issue. They are very touchy about what is
included in outbound email through their servers. If you are including
links, or HTML, start by sending a plain text email with no links. If that
works (it should), add the link you had in the failed email. If that works,
try the full enchilada. Whenever you break it, figure out if you can change
the added element to not break it. Or ... get a free Gmail account.

Outlook is not blocking you from sending an e-mail. If charter.com is
*your* e-mail provider, they employ outbound spam filtering and they
have triggered on the content of some of your e-mails to be spam. It
cannot be an Outlook issue. Why? Because charter.com issued that error
e-mail that they put into your mailbox.

Since Google Groups is a known source of a LOT of spam in newsgroups,
maybe Charter decided not to provide yet another avenue for spammers to
abuse Google Groups hence they block e-mails to the googlegroups.com
domain. What happens when you send e-mails to other domains?

Hi,
we're having the same problem in our office. Two of the employees cannot send mail to googlegroups they're members of.
Others can.
The blockage comes from google groups app.

The difference between them and the rest of the staff is that they're using laptops (not PCs) and they have dynamic IP. The rest of us have static IP.
They also have problems using the shared documents and functions (printing etc.) in the office.

Could the problem lie here somewhere? Anybody?
