Sending messages

When I click on a link to send a message (such as in Craigslist) or use the
"Send> Email" fucntion in another Office 2007 application, the messages do
not send until I open Outlook 2007 again. Is there a setting to allow for
these messages to be sent automatically? Outlook 2003 used to send these
without having to reopen Outlook.

Outlook needs to be open to operate. If Outlook 2003 did this, you probably
had a hidden process still running which is not expected behavior.
