During an Outlook Send process is there any way to see the actual number of
bytes being sent.

I am having a fit with my ISP sending large email messages.

Outlook says the message is being sent. Near as I can tell there is network
activity going on but I have no way of knowing by what program.

It would be very helpful to be able to see the number of bytes being sent
such as the way file copy shows progress.

Hi RC,

in sent items , can u plz check the size column, if not enable by right
clicking on the column.

Thank you for replying.

I know how big the files are. What I need is some type of meter to show me
the progress of the file transfer to the ISP Mail Server, like the progress
window that pops up when you copy a file from one place to another.

Outlook tells me the files are sent but the person at the other end isn't
getting them. The problem seems to be only with large files.

I would like to be able to see if the files are actually being transmitted
to the Mail Server.

Task Manager shows Outlook is taking a lot of processor time (+/- 50%) and
the Network and Sharing Center shows that some data is being swapped with the
ISP. What I don't know is if all this is the message being sent or something
else.

So far the ISP has been very little help.
