I must have something configured wrong . . . everytime I send a message from
my Hotmail account, it also shows up in my POP account . . . what am I doing
wrong?

I hope someone can help. Thank you in advance, if you can.

Where in the POP account does it appear?

In the Sent Messages Folder . . . same place it does in my Hotmail account,
even though I'm sending it from Hotmail. Yes, I check which account I want
it sent from prior to sending, so what am I doing wrong?

Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Unless you're using Outlook Live, the Hotmail folders can never be the
default folders. Sent Items will always be place in the default Sent Items
folder, unless you use rules to place them elsewhere.

Yes, I know that sent messages have to be sent from the default folder . . .
what advantage does Outlook Live offer, and where would I look to create
rules if I don't like Outlook Live?

Outlook Live is a premium service from Hotmail that allows your Hotmail
account to be your delivery location, in a fashion similar to using
Exchange. All data is kept on the Hotmail server. The typical features of
Outlook's default folders apply then to the Hotmail folders.

Rules are created, naturally, with the Rules and Alerts wizard.

Ok, Brian. I'll look into it.

I appreciate your time; thank you for your suggestions.
