Sending message 3 of 3

When sending an E-mail (1), in my status line it shows that I'm sending a
quantity of messages which is different then that which I am sending. For
example, I'm forwarding one e-mail, and the status line shows sending 3 of 3.
How can this be resolved, and/or fixed?
 
Is sending Read Receipts checked in your Tracking Options ? Tools\Options\Email

No read receipts are turned on.
