Get instructions from your email provider for setting up to use their email
servers, which should include the correct server names, where to put them,
and any other details needed. Most people choose their internet provider
as their email provider also, since most internet accounts include one or
more email accounts. If they haven't written instructions for Windows Mail
yet, their instructions for Outlook Express should also work under Windows
Mail if they don't call for the HTTP protocol. The instructions are
probably
somewhere on their web site. Or, you could tell us who your email provider
is and see if anyone here already knows where to find their instructions.
Your email provider should have a help page on their website with the
correct server names & settings.
If you tell us who your provider is, perhaps someone can further assist.
