I need to send a credit card number to a vendor in an Email attachment. I
created a self extracting czip archive with 128 bit Rijaendel but the end
user doesn't understand that I have to rename the file .ex1 to get around
security filters and they need to rename the file in order to be able to
execute it.

Is there any easier way that I can secure the transaction without having the
user generate a key? (which is probably far beyond their ability) I'm using
Outlook 2003, I have no idea what the end user has.

TIA

Matt

So, this recipient is not an speaker of the same language you speak? Do
they not know how to read what you write when you explain to them
step-by-step what they should do?

I think you're using about the simplest method there is. There are seldom
technological solutions to behavioral problems.
