sending emails

when I sent emails it shows that it was sent, however the people I send it to
does not receive it. I also send an email to myself as test, however I did
not receive it, so I haveno idea where it goes, help!

You must be new to Outlook. Are you sure you have your account set
correctly? Select Tools|Email Accounts, then View or Change Account
Settings. If you need an explanation of anything the Help is quite
straightforward and complete.
 
What version of Outlook do you have? What sort of mail account?
