Here's some code in VB which looks like it could be adapted fairly easily to
C#...

It mentions referencing the Notes Object Model which, if you're a Notes
user, I presume you already have or can get easily.

Have you tried contacting Lotus / IBM to see if they have a native .NET
version of this COM component?

I don;t think they have a .net version , I looked in your site and found
nothing,
