Sending email through specified account

Whenever I select a different account in the "Accounts" drop down in the
new mail window, no matter which I select, outlook always chooses the
same one to send the mail through.
The account it chooses isn't the default one, nor is it my ISPs.
How do I fix this as it is very annoying not being able to send business
mails from the appropriate addresses.

Usually this happens when Outlook is unable to send through the chosen
account for some reason. Do you have any idea why those e-mail accounts
might be having problems sending?

Ah yes that's sorted it (the account i was trying to send through wasn't
auth'ing correctly)

It astounds me that Outlook doesn't at least warn you when this is
happening, is this something that is being fixed? seems like a bug to me.

It is a known issue but I'm not sure when it will be fixed -- perhaps in
Outlook 2003 SP2.
