sending docs with .lnk

I am a student and have to send all my work in on a Word document. The last
few times I have sent them in (attached the word doc in a mail message) they
are all being send with the document plus .lnk after it and my professors
cannot open them. This just started and I am a bit slow on the Word issues.
I have Office 2007 home and student. Thanks..

Kimberly,

Not really the place to ask this question as this the newsgroup for
Microsoft Access but let me give this a shot...

The reason for .LNK soubds like you are sending them the shortcut from you
desktop and not the actual document. When attaching to eMail you will need
to navigate to your My Documents folder and attach the actual document.
