Sending Contact list to user on laptop

Hello, I am driving myself crazy trying to export my
contact list to a disk so I can mail the contact list for
my boss to download onto his laptop. For some reason, my
computer stops me at every attempt. Help!
 
It is rather difficult to know what you are doing wrong when you haven't
told us what you are doing and just how your computer is "stopping you."
