Sending and Receiving meeting emails

I have a user who is using Outlook 2000 with SP3 and when he receives
a meeting email it use to go directly to his calendar and set the appointment, but if it is sent from Outlook 2007 he receives a weird text like email that you can not read. Any ideas as to why?

Any help is great.
Thanks
Brandi.

I had this problem when I updated computers but others in my office did not.
The default on Outlook 2007 is to use iCalendar format, which older versions
of Outlook don't know how to read. Only solution I know of is to change the
Calendar settings in whatever device is using Outlook 2007 and uncheck the
iCalendar box. Or just tell the user to upgrade to Outlook 2007 as well.
