sending an attachment with mail merge

How do I send an attachment along with an email produced
via mail merge. I have 70 people I want to email an
attachment to, and I want the email message to be
personalized. I can perform the merge no problem, but
can't attach anything as it sends the email off straight
away.

I can't beleive there is no way to do it!
