Outlook 2003: SERIOUSLY ANNOYED about mail merge

C

Cafenoire

The whole point of a mail merge is to make my life easier by being able to
send personal messages to multiple people.

However, I now have to resend every single message individually because the
mail merge has failed to attach the attachment.

It's enough to make a saint swear - and as I am no saint, I am swearing.
Copiously.

Fix it.

Mail merge isn't designed by default to include attachments - see here for a
fix:

The description for that macro solution in Outlook recommends using
ClickYes to get around the security of another program wanting to use
Outlook to send e-mails. However, I'd recommend using MapiLab's
security add-on to Outlook since, for example, it lets you review what
programs you have allowed access to Outlook.

http://www.mapilab.com/outlook/security/

MapiLab's add-on is usable for both commercial and non-commercial use.

The version comparison table for ClickYes free vs Pro says the free
version doesn't support OL2007 (it might run okay with OL2007 but it is
seems unsupported). They don't mention if their free version can be
used for business/commercial use. The free version looks to be lureware
to get you to buy their Pro version. There is no "upgrade" or Pro
version to MapiLab's add-on to lure you to buy it.

Just WHO do you think you're talking to? You really think this is some
free venue for support from Microsoft? New to Usenet, aren't you. You
are posting through Microsoft's webnews-for-dummies interface so they
can usurp Usenet to pretend they have forums. We are all users here in
a peer community to help or discuss with other users. If you want to
contact Microsoft's real support, start with the Contact Us link on
their home page (and get your credit card ready to pay for support).

What is Usenet:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Usenet
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Newsgroups
http://www.masonicinfo.com/newsgroups.htm
http://www.mcfedries.com/Ramblings/usenet-primer.asp

When using a webnews-for-dummies interface, like Microsoft's Communities
or Google Groups or a forum-to-Usenet proxy, those are gateways to
Usenet. Despite the appearance of a forum, you are participating in
newsgroups (Usenet).

How to post to newsgroups:
