Sending an Appointment request in an email

I have seen and used a link in an email that sets an appointment in my
Outlook by just clicking on it. Does anyone know how to send these links to
several people?
 
Create the appointment/meeting, save it to your desktop, create a new mail message, insert the calendar item, send it.
