send web page via email

when i send my webpage via email, the pictures don't show up...just the outline w/red X's. any idea why this happens and how i can combat it?

Make sure that the image tags are using absolute URLs that point to the
location of the images on your web site.

How are you e-mailing the page?

Generally, the following procedure gets the best results.

1. Save the page and publish it to your hosted Web site.
2. In IE, browse the page from your hosted Web site.
3. In IE, choose File, Send, Page By E-Mail.
4. Specify the addressee(s) and then click Send.

However, even this doesn't work for all Web pages. The
recipient's e-mail reader provides a much different
environment than a browser. Plan on mailing the page to
yourself first, and then fine-tuning its features and
appearance.
