Send To in Word (XP) Launches OE instead of Outlook

Not sure if this a MS Word problem or an Outlook problem. After creating a
document in Word, I select Send To, Mail Recipient, and Outlook Express
launches instead of my default mail program Outlook. How do I make WORD
launch Outlook as my default mail client?

Thanks,
Russ

I think this is what you need to do.

Open IE then go to Tools/Internet Options. Click on the Program tab. If
E-mail isn't set to Outlook click the down arrow and select Outlook.

Hope this helps,

I wish it was that simple. Email is set to Outlook.... on the Tools/Internet
Options, Program tab...

I copied the text of my word file into a new work file and now when I send
to.. the email program lauched is Outlook. So, it was something embedded in
the Word file that some how believed I wanted to use OE instead of Outlook.

Very odd....
