To recap said:
There is a Send To context menu selection when using IE. I'm using XP Pro
and shortcuts I have in the SendTo folder are not appearing in the Send To
context menu when using IE. Is there a way to add a shortcut to the Send
To context menu when using IE?

I don't have a 'send to' context menu with mine (IE 6 - perhaps there's one
with IE 7 ?), but you can add a right-click entry to Internet Explorer via
this registry key (eg pointing to a local .htm file containing a script)

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\MenuExt

Hello Jon,

That key looked good for a few moments but its not for the Send To context
menu item -- it is for the options that are located in the section directly
above the Send To menu item -- and I might just decide to hack the MenuExt
key anyway to try to load an .exe (Firefox) using the %1 variable. I
couldn't make any sense of the use of dde used by some of the MenuExt key
objects.

I just verified the presence of a Send To context menu item using IE6 on
another machine noting the three Send To menu options are: "blog this" (to
blogger), "gmail this" and "sms this" for both IE6 *and* IE7 which you
correctly surmised I "must be using." This Send To must be from some browser
helper or an extension I've installed %-) but at the moment RegEdit couldn't
even find any text such as "blog this" or "gmail this" so I have more work
to do with yhis IE specific mystery context menu item.

The second thing I noticed is I posted here in windowsxp.general and should
also be asking around at internetexplorer.general which is where I'm headed
next... Thanks for getting involved.
