Error Number: 0x800CCC0E was the error message I received
when attempting to send receivemail, and could not
receive, but I think mail was able to be sent...
BY creating a NEW identity within my Outlook mail program
I was able to circumvent this error...
This was a suggested approach here in this forum
somewhere, and it worked for me...
However I also disabled my email scanning(an additonal
level beyond auto, in Norton, this was also suggested
here. ) 'JUst disabling the email scan did not solve my
problem.
New Identity avoids the error message and lets me receive
mail from my earthlink server.... but darn if this is
really SOLVING a problem.... Just a work around. I still
want to know why this is happening.....

Each time I download new e-mail, I get a Sending and

The server responded ???t?..." I am able to retrieve all
