send/recieve button does nothing...

Suddenly my outlook is broken. When I hit send recieve, nothing happens, i
have sent a test email to my POP3 account and it worked just fine. I am also
able to send emails via Outlook. What could be wrong with my program?
 
Locate the srs-file for your profile and rename it to .old. This will reset
your send/receive settings.
