I'm running Outlook 2002 under XP connecting broadband to
a POP3 account. It downloads mail fine, then every minute
or so it does several send/receives none of which
complete. The error codes are 0x80042108, 0x80048002 and
0x800C8105. I suspect it has to do with it not deleting
mail from the server which started at the same time. It
may also have begun just after installing Office XP
service pack 3. Any help would be appreciated.
 
You've provided no information that would permit troubleshooting.
Start by providing mail account types, connection types and automatic
polling settings. What makes you think Outlook is not deleting items as it
downloads?
