Hi,

I have a laptop running XP-Pro SP-2, Office 2003 SP-2, BCM SP-2, all
updated. When I launch Outlook, it synchronizes the folder lists and the
modem lights indicate traffic.

When I press the send/receive button, I immediately receive this error
message: "Task "Pipe and Tanks-Receiving' reported error (0x80040900).'The
server name you entered cannot be found on the network (it might be down
temporarily). Please verify that you are online and that the server name is
correct.' " I have the Outlook Send/Receive Progress pinned. When I click on
the "Cancel All", I receive another error "Task "unknown task" report error
(0x80048002): "This task was canceled before it was completed'"

I activated the error OPMLog.log;
006.12.05 08:09:13 <<<< Logging Started (level is LTF_TRACE) >>>>

2006.12.05 08:09:36 Resource manager terminated

My desktop is running identical programs and performs the E-mail tasks okay.
I have entered the exact settings from the E-mail accounts settings from my
desktop into my laptop, making sure everything matches.

I have the same Zonealarm and AVG settings in both computers. I have turned
off "E-mail scanning" in AVG

I have extended the Server timeouts to 10 minutes.
I have tried creating a new profile.

Please help,

Hi Abhi,

Thank you for your time, trouble shooting my E-mail problem.

Here is the OPMLog.log, which was logged under Windows safe mode with
Networking

P.S. The time delayed between the 2nd and 3rd line is a pop up box stating;
"Business Contact Manager for Outlook database cannot be loaded.

This action cannot be completed because Business Contact Manager cannot
access the database. The database is currently stopped.

Do you want to change the data base configuration?" Answer NO

I then get another popup asking the same question, which again I answer NO

I then click on the Send/Receive button which produces the Outlook
Send/Receive Progress error mentioned in the previous post

Maybe, just reload Outlook 2003 and work up the Service Packs? It did work
fine before.
