Send/Receive

All of a sudden I'm having problems sending/receiving email using Outlook
2002. The error I get it is "The operation failed". That is the whole
error, no number or explanation. I've uninstalled and re-installed the
program after having a free trial of Office 2003. As well I've deleted my
email account and then recreated it hoping this would fix the issue,
unfortunately it didn't. If anyone can help I'd great appreciate it.
