send/receive

How do I make the send/receive status appear in the lower tool bar showing
percentage of send/receive?

Do you mean that it's displaying now but you want to change the content? If
so, I don't think you can

It is not dispaying. You don't know if things are being sent or received
until they appear in the In Boc or disappear from the Outbox.

Which version of outlook are you using? How have you configured outlook, is
it internet email only or corporate or workgroup.

If it is internet email. then while send/receive click on dont show this on
sending/receiving. If it is workgroup mode you cant do this.

Hmmm, see if there's an option for Show Progress here: Tools menu >
Send/Receive > Send/Receive Settings

There is no option there. However, under Tools>Customize>Commands>Tools
there is a Send/Receive Settings option. I place it on my toolbar but
changing its settings made no difference.

Do you have full menus showing? Is there a small v-like graphic at the
bottom of menus?

Perhaps I'm not being clear about the problem I'm trying to solve. Under the
Tool menu I can get a Show Progress box which I don't want to see. What I
want to see is the small icon that appears above the botton toolbar when you
send/receive. All of a sudden mine quit appearing.

Normally when you check the box to hide that dialog box, it should minimize
itself to the status bar. I was hoping that redisplaying the dialog and
hiding it would fix the status bar. I'm guessing that Status Bar is checked
on the View menu

I accidently solved my problem by going to View and checking Status. Boy, do
I feel stupid!
