outlook 2002: when i click on the send/receive button (or press f9) i get a
warning message saying ! operation failed. what is wrong and how do i fix it?
I also have this problem. I had Office 2003 on my machine and rolled back to
office xp. When I started outlook all my previous setting were imported but
when I click send receive I get this error. I tried a Detect & Repair and I
tried creating a new profile and copy the original profile and none of them
worked.
I can send/receive individual email accounts but this only happens when I
Send All.
I too have this problem and cannot find a way of curing it. I have
unistalled and re-installed several times, restared my machine but to no
avail. Currently i cannot send or receive emails at all so my chances of
getting it fixed through online support are slim.

And did you try the new mail profile that was suggested? If not, what
_have_ you tried in an effor to fix it? What version of Outlook? What type
of account?
