send/receive failure

I have outlook 2002 and when I click on the send/receive button, a bubble
pops up that says the operation failed. I don't know what to do!? Help!?
 
I viewed the send/receive progress and clicked on the error part but nothing
is there
 
You displayed the details of send/receive? If nothing is displayed there,
check your application event viewer for any Outlook or Officce related
errors.
