Send Receive all fails

Using OL2k2 on w2k system, all patches applied.

For some reason Send/Receive All will not work. I can send/receive each of
my 3 pop accounts individually, but if I try all or F9 I get an error
message "The operation failed". I went into options to check the settings
under Mail Format|Send/Receive and get the same error when I click on the
button to access the settings.

Thoughts? Thanks.

I have tried repairing and then uninstalled and reinstalled OL without
fixing this. Other ideas please?
